  3. Lotus is shipping SmartPak for 1-2-3 for Windows free of charge to current
  4. users of 1-2-3 for Windows.  The enhancement package, which includes
  5. SmartIcons, GUI application development tools, the Lotus Dialog Editor, and
  6. a host of new features, will be provided in all new units of Lotus 1-2-3 for
  7. Windows, Version 1.1.

  9. SmartPak for 1-2-3 for Windows features include Smartfill, for automatically 
  10. populating a spreadsheet range with commonly used data series; CrossTabs,
  11. for creating a summary table from database information; SmartFormat, for 
  12. cycling through up to ten predefined formats; and a new SmartIcon for printing
  13. graphs in portrait or landscape mode.  The new Application development tools 
  14. include GUI macro keywords that can replace 1-2-3 menus with custom 
  15. application menus.
